In this one-day workshop, artists and scientists will come together to reflect on the history, impact, and future directions of digital technology in art, science, and culture as a whole. The event will feature a performance in the form of a "time travel" journey, guiding participants through the history of mass media—from the invention of book printing to a counterhistory of the internet, exploring its origins in military technology. Finally, the workshop will delve into the role of AI and cryptography.
